Dear Minister Fikile Mbalula

 

HBR Foundation is a non-political aligned organisation, which represent the interest of communities and civil organization in South Africa. We hereby appeals to the State and your office in particular and those in the provincial and local government, to declare the funeral of the Late Babe Jake a State funeral.


It is in the best interest of the country, and the African continent , that the State should lead its nations and pride itself with its people, by taking a decision which will encourage South Africans in politics, sports and  other spheres of life to be active participant that advances the country to greater heights.


It is such decision the State should take to unify all South Africans, that will revive the spirit of greatness in South African like the spirit of the late champ Babe Jake Matlala, who took the country to greater heights in regards to sports, who united the nation during reconciliation times through sports, and gave us all hope, which made this country to be a proud democratic and prosperous country, we are today.


The decision for the State to assume responsibility of the fully planning and organizing the boxing legend Mr. Babe Jake Matlala funeral, will further indicate to the people of the country and the world  that when people serve our country with devotion and pride, that  our country which is the Republic of South Africa  will forget you not …


South Africa has been blessed, and the blessing is of great nature that we cannot be found to have to choose one over the other but to accept that indeed the country has been blessed.

In the early hours today HBR Foundation was honored to receive a response from U.S. President Honorable Barack Obama titled Syria, he was responding to our Lobbying letter on Syria which was address to him, U.S. Congress, the People of America and the World leaders.

We welcome the spirit of the letter which clearly delays any initiatives of war on Syria but rather enhancing a diplomatic approach on protecting the human race and also that of working hand in hand with the President of Russia “HonorableVladimir Putin, African Leaders, Asian leaders, European leaders  and the international community  on such matters of global interest.

The honorable U.S President has also requested us to share the letter with you (as Attached), he explains where he stands regarding this issue and sharing his perspective on the sensitive situations we all face, in the letter he says “Though I posses the authority to order these Strikes, in the absence of a direct threat of U.S. Military action may produce a diplomatic breakthrough. The Russian Government has indicated a willingness to join with the international community  in pushing Assad to give  up his Chemical Weapons and the Assad regime has now committed that it these weapons and even said  they’d join the Chemical Weapon Convention, which prohibit the Use…” and he further says “…That is  why I have asked the leaders of Congress to Postpone a vote to authorize the use of force while pursue this diplomatic path”

We further also congratulate all US Senators, members of the US Congress and the people of America who were progressive to say they will vote against military strikes whether in the open or behind closed sessions.  We also welcome and appreciate the dedication shown by President of Syria honorable Assad on cooperating with the international community.

Following our lobbying of members of the US Congress, most Senators responded positively to our plea and said that they would vote against the military strike against Syria and will seek to find harmonious means of ending the injustice in Syria.

 

To quote a few, some response from the Members of US Congress:

·         Senator Dan Coats said “…I do not believe a targeted, limited military strike on Syria is in the direct national security interests of the United States. Therefore, I do not support a resolution authorizing the president to take military action in Syria.” In his response Senator Coats clearly indicates that he opposes the military war strikes intended against Syria and says a threat against Syria may pose a threat to the US’ national security which in turn may cause a world war.

·         Senator Jonny Isakson pointed out that “The administration's lack of a clear strategy is troubling, and the potential fallout following a military strike is also troubling,” therefore after carefully weighing this issue he is adamant that he will vote against military strikes.

·         Senator Jerry Maron didn’t share with us his opinion on the matter but invited us for a conference call were further discussions would be held.

·         Although we received an overwhelming amount of positive responses from most members of Congress, Senator Sherrod Brown noted that intervention in Syria from the US was long overdue and that she supports any diplomatic efforts to end the rule of President Assad.

 

On behalf of Civil Organizations in Africa, we continue to support all drives of peace, stability and prosperity in the world, and that any Government striving towards such has our support and the blessing of all civil organizations in Africa and the world.

HBR Foundation is Confident of No War in Syria After Lobbying US Senators

“HBR FOUNDATION CONFIDENT OF NO WAR IN SYRIA AFTER LOBBYING US SENATORS”


Hola Bon Renaissance (HBR) Foundation is proud to inform the world that it’s campaign which resulted in lobbying around 100 US Senate House representatives both from the Democrats and Republicans to persuade the US Congress not to authorize war on Syria.

We are confident that during the upcoming US Congress debate on Syria the Senate House which is the highest decision making body in the United Stated of America will resolve to find other amicable ways of dealing with the Syrian government and its people.

Due to the warm response we’ve received from progressive Senators we are rest assured that the US will no longer send out threats of bombing Syria and its people.
The positive feedback we’ve received gives us the confidence to proclaim the latter.

HBR Foundation is also proud of the milestones that we’ve reached in defending human rights and protecting the human race. We believe that a collective international intervention from different associations, governments, peace-keepers and other as institutions that protect the dignity of people will develop an amicable solution to Syria’s problems, and other countries that are faced with similar terror.

We welcome all the international communities that are sharing a perspective of peace, security and prosperity of nations.

The African Ubuntu (humanity) has infiltrated the agenda of the world and shall continue to strive for global harmony of the human race.

An Official Lobby Letter from African Civil Organizations as a submission to US Congress to withdraw any actions of declaring war on Syria

We Hola Bon Renaissance Foundation on behalf of  African based civil organizations are responding to the international call of duty, to honor and submit our request in a form of an official lobbying letter to be considered by the Congress of the United States, the people of United State of America and the international community in pleading with the US, to withdraw any declaration of war with Syria and hold that process for a period of 12 months allowing the International community and UN to intervene in Syria issue, to seek ways to resolve the matter peacefully and amicably, of which failure for such a resolution to be met by all of us (globally) then other avenues can be exploited by the US to bring justice to any mishap that befall the people of Syria in this instance, the alleged use of chemical weapons of mass destruction.
 
We write this letter confining and basing our submission in line with the Constitution of United State, also in advancing our joint mission that of global peace and prosperity for the human race. In particular  to request the US congress to uphold its good stature of deepening democracy throughout the world that includes also the West Asian countries and the withdrawal of any military action or funding oppositions  parties (and/or  rebels) in other countries with arms.

It is reported that the President of USA Mr Honorable Obama on 03 September 2013 has urged quick congressional action authorizing the use of military force against Syria and won the support of leaders from both parties in the House of Representatives for limited strikes and the honorable President told congressional leaders at a White House meeting that the US has a broad plan to help the rebels defeat Syrian government forces.

We raise our request based on US Constitution and on the following to be in particular:


b)      On Article II The executive branch, Section 1, The President states that “ The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United States; he may require the Opinion, in writing, of the principal Officer in each of the executive Departments, upon any Subject relating to the Duties of their respective Offices, and he shall have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offences against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment”. 
      On this note it is of a proven fact  that Syrians has never impeached on  the USA or any other country, hence it is imperative for the USA to apply pressure for democracy and strategic approaches that are peaceful in action to remedy the Syrian situation and defuse any form
      of treats of Terrorism, and also that if there are economic agendas, we propose there be a trade and investment approach which will deliver more results and fruits than the war approach which may spark third world war none good for the human race.

c)      On Article IV, Section 4 states that “The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.”  The Constitution prohibits any domestic violence in USA or in any country in world and in good spirit such grounds it is imperative that the USA government does not fund or supply arms to any oppositions parties (including Rebels) in any country to stimulate domestic violence, if the congress or member of any house found doing that, it is infringing in the constitution of United State of America.

d)      Article II, Section 4 the President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States “shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors”. We hereby would like to lobby the people of United Sate of America and the Congress to support our motion that says: should the honorable President Obama proceed with such military action and there be 2 or more Syrian civilians that loses their lives because of such acts then it must be classified as both the High Crime and Impeachment, and this section of the constitution be enforced and resulting in the honorable Mr President Obama be removed from Office, as he would have violated the Constitution of the US.

HBR Foundation: Request Mr Gwede Mantashe to withdraw statement about Zimbabwe

HBR (Hola Bon Renaissance) Foundation is a non-politically aligned, non-governmental organization having been established to address and encourage the growth in African communities through socio-economic transformation and building societies that are self-sustainable with a central economic hub.   

On behalf of the civil organisation in Southern Africa, and Africa in general, we appeal to the ruling party in South Africa under the stewardship of Mr Gwede Mantashe, to uphold the responsibility of South Africa which was mandated to mediate in Zimbabwe economical, social and political spheres, we request the all people in African Continent and the world to adhere to the independency and democratic process that governs Zimbabwe and support the people of Zimbabwe.

We feel it is a reckless and irresponsible statement that has a negative influence in the elections of Zimbabwe, which was issued by Mr Gwede Mantase (high profile, senior member of the ruling party in South Africa) on the eve of general elections in Zimbabwe. When he refers to one party above the other as to blame for the economic downfall of Zimbabwe, without noting that most of the liberation movements in South Africa and in the African Continent in the 80s were in exile in Zimbabwe and also history does highlight the aftermath of colonism in Zimbabwe. Hence we call on Mr Mantashe to withdraw his statement immediately and apologize to Zimbabweans and the SADC community.

The diplomatic relations that  South Africa is having in Africa becomes a wastefully exercise if the ruling party is biased, while the government it leads is supposed to mediate and strengthen the democracy, security for free fair and transparent democratic elections in Zimbabwe and in the African continent. Even the America and Europe have clearly stated that they will respect the democratic process of Zimbabwe and only Zimbabweans can choose their government.

We further appeal to the Africa Union delegation to issue statements that reflect the true status quo without taking side in Zimbabwe.In fostering free and fair elections we also request all African media to provide true media coverage on 2013 Zimbabwe general elections.

Zimbabwean people are ready to govern, lets us be there to assist them working together for a better change.
